What we're doing to improve accessibility
We aim to ensure that our website meets the current accessibility standards, including:
-
Using clear, simple language wherever possible
-
Ensuring text has sufficient colour contrast
-
Providing meaningful link text
-
Making the site navigable via keyboard
-
Ensuring images have descriptive alternative text
-
Designing pages to be responsive and mobile-friendly
We continually review our website and update it to improve accessibility for all users.
How accessible is the website?
We know some parts of the website may not be fully accessible, for example:
-
Some images may not yet have full alt text descriptions
-
Some older PDF or downloadable documents may not be fully accessible
-
Video content (if present) may not have captions or transcripts
We are working to address these issues and improve the overall accessibility of our content.

Physical Accessibility of the Property
Please note that our holiday cottage is a traditional-style Cotswolds property spread over three floors and, as such, may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
-
There are internal staircases between the ground, first, and second floors
-
All bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the upper floors
-
There are no ground floor bedrooms or step-free shower facilities
-
The main bathroom and ensuite include a shower over bath and a rainfall shower, respectively, both accessed via steps
-
There are small changes in floor level and steps within the property
-
The courtyard is paved but not fully level in all areas
Unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access or mobility aids on-site. We recommend contacting us before booking if you have any concerns or specific access needs — we’re happy to answer questions and help determine if the cottage is suitable for you.
